Jazzy Mondays

April, Noel & Me roll out to Amoeba Records in Hollywood for the album release of Esperanza Spalding.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Esperanza Spalding is irresistible, interpretive and perceptive at the young age of 24. Blessed with a multilingual siren-like voice complimented by the deep tone of her standup bass. A vocalist, bassist, composer and she's freeking CUTE too! A welcome addition to the world of Jazz. Esperanza attended Berklee School of Music on a full scholarship and later was signed on as an instructor at the age of 20. Moved to the east coast, tours around the world with her band and is currently working with Stevie Wonder.

Esperanza diggin' before show time.

I'm blinded by her awesomeness!

groupies!

Afterwards we head back to the valley for some Pho 999.

I INK I CAN

Me, Noel and Dot roll down to the Orange County Event Center to attend the 2nd Annual Musink Tattoo & Music Festival with skateboarding demos, over 200 of the world's finest tattoo artists and roots-punk-metal thrashing from Rev. Horton Heat, Nekromantix, The Rocketz, Atreyu, Story of the Year, Far and Danzig.

A whole weekend of tattoo art and music and of course the Dolorosa Company is there to represent.

Chris "Radass" Paez

To bring attention to Dolorosa we've decided to finish my rooster tattoo at the show.

To keep my mind off the pain Julian Zeff was tattooing his friend's ribs.

NICE!

REAL NICE!

As I was finishing up, Noel enters into the the Best Black & Gray Tattoo of the Day.

REPRESENT!
