Adventure Time

I get a call to go hiking in the Angeles Forest and I'm like "Yeah, sure why not." I was expecting an easy tip toe through the daiseys and chill out under the shade of a tree. "NOPE! Definetly not easy and definetly not what I expected."

We were hungover from the night before, so we got some delicious Subway to start off a sluggish morning.

So here's what you gotta do. You hike about a mile through some nasty terrain, climb down the ravine called Monkey Canyon, swim across this creek and then climb up this rope to the top of this gorge. Where the water has cut through the rock to make a natural swimming pool complete with a water slide and a 50 foot drop jump off.




Intense!

But these crazy white boys weren't satisfied, let's jump off this 100 ft. ledge. Warning, if you don't got some big balls don't try this!

After a strenuous hike back up the canyon, we head back to Hollywood to relax at Erica's place for a minute. Her place is awesome, it used to be a monastery and is now an apartment complex hidden in the hills. The architecture of the complex is entertwined with a lush garden and a koi pond in the center. Simply beautiful.





Definetly an adventure!
