Today I hooked up with an old classmate of mine from CSUN, Jenny Calaba, her specialty, ceramics & blown glass. We met in a intro ceramics class back in '02. She was the blonde white girl hippie & I was the filipino hip hop head. Just another free spirit with a passion for making art which I totally feel. She recently opened a solo exhibition at the CSUN's student gallery titled Eukaryotes.

Exhibiting her work on the floor forces the viewer to take a closer look into the intricacies & subtle colors. An interesting contrast of smooth & rough textures reflecting the natural unpredictability of organic life forms. In other words, siiick woork. Expect some collaborations in the future. Don't sleep on this one. JENNY CALABA coming to a art gallery near YOU!
Right when I got home from Colorado, I got ready for round 2 of my journey. A weekend in Lake Tahoe with the family. I was still messed up from my trip so dad drove all the way up. Thanks POP! We stayed at the Lakeland Village in South Lake which was a mile from the Heavenly snow resort & the casinos. VERY CONVENIENT! So I spent most of the day riding by myself while everyone else went gambling. It was actually refreshing just to be by myself with the mountain. Just me & my thoughts. Afterwards hitched a shuttle ride back to the hotel & soaked in the hot tub for a couple hours. Rejuvenated. Got ready & met up with the fam at Harrahs.
The greatest game ever made! Big Buck Hunter Pro
Just hanging with my bros in the arcade. HAHAHA!
The next day we drove around the lake & ended up in Zephyr Cove.

A good weekend with the familia. Definitely cleared my head & just reminded me what its all about. ONELOVE!
So after 3 months of careful planing, constant worrying & secluding myself into a hole to pump work out for my show I figured I needed a little getaway from reality so I jumped on the next plane to Colorado.
Flying over the Rockies.
I hooked up wit my partner in crime Joe Dirt at the airport & went straight to CB & Potts for a drink. We met up with Joe's familia & before I knew it. IT WAS HAMMERTIME!
It was a tough morning but we gathered the energy to get up & head into the mountains for some stream fishing with Joe's dad, Big G.

There was snow everywhere so it was tough climbing down the ravine to get to the fishing hole.
I was a bit scared of falling through the ice into the freezing water so I took a couple pics & put my camera down. Fresh air, crystal clear water & I didn't fall in. A beautiful day.
It was our last night in Colorado so we got the peoples together & RAGED.
What to drink?
Can I get 5 shots of the Especial.
HAHA!
Extra dirty!
Let's draw on each other. YAY!
I'm getting pretty hammered.

this is my last one & that's IT!
By the end of the night we were fighting in the restaurant. SO MUCH FUN!
So hung over on my flight back to CA.
Big thank yous to everyone that made my visit a memorable ONE. I'll be back Colorado
