I lost my marbles

Today I hooked up with an old classmate of mine from CSUN, Jenny Calaba, her specialty, ceramics & blown glass. We met in a intro ceramics class back in '02. She was the blonde white girl hippie & I was the filipino hip hop head. Just another free spirit with a passion for making art which I totally feel. She recently opened a solo exhibition at the CSUN's student gallery titled Eukaryotes.

eu⋅kar⋅y⋅ote
- an organism with cells characteristic of all life forms except primitive microorganisms such as bacteria.

this one with the branches caught my eye. dopeee!

Exhibiting her work on the floor forces the viewer to take a closer look into the intricacies & subtle colors. An interesting contrast of smooth & rough textures reflecting the natural unpredictability of organic life forms. In other words, siiick woork. Expect some collaborations in the future. Don't sleep on this one. JENNY CALABA coming to a art gallery near YOU!
