Miss you...

Two weeks ago this sunday, my dog Cookie passed away due to a tumor in her uterus. Her passing was a devastating loss and she will be forever missed. So to honor her memory I decided to rescue a dog from an animal shelter. With the help of Lacey Conner (an animal rights activist)

I found the perfect candidate to adopt, Cole, a 3 year old American Staffordshire terrier scheduled to be euthanized.

Today, Dot, Joe and I went to the North Central Animal Shelter to meet Cole. He was a little shy when I pulled out my camera to take a picture but was very excited to get a second chance. It was really tough seeing so many animals locked up, waiting patiently for their second chance. If you were planning to take an animal into your life I recommend you go to your local animal shelter and save one. There are so many animals out there who need a happy home. Surprisingly there are a lot of pitbulls up for adoption. Pitbulls got such a bad reputation for being aggressive but in actuallity are awesome pets, they just have bad owners. Here are some beautiful dogs up for adoption.
